Flint + Flint have paired with Cosmetic Doctor, Kam Lally to expand their treatment offering at their concept skin clinic in Birmingham’s Mailbox.

The treatments, some of which are exclusive to the Birmingham clinic, combine advanced non-invasive injectable techniques with industry gold-standard products, to treat or prevent ageing skin concerns.

Adam Flint, co-owner of Flint + Flint, said: “When the opportunity to partner with Dr Kam came about we knew it was a real coup. Kam’s knowledge and skill-set meant we could increase our non-invasive treatment menu for ageing skin that many clients are looking to in order to avoid surgery. It allows us to not only provide solutions for various ageing concerns like lines, wrinkles and jowls but also popular enhancement treatments using dermal fillers, such as chin, lip and nose augmentation.”

“We know not all concerns can be effectively treated with topical solutions or home-use creams and we understand our client’s apprehensions of going under the knife, especially the fear of the surgery not giving the desired result. So, it was a natural step for us to embrace Kam’s expertise, bridging the gap between superficial beauty treatments and cosmetic surgery with non-invasive alternatives that deliver instantly visible, natural results.”

An expert in cosmetic injectable procedures, Dr Kam successfully graduated with a doctorate in Medicine from Oxford University in 2008. This was followed by an honorary lectureship at the University of Leicester before practising as a GP in the Midlands.  His achievements resulted in an offer to take the Royal College of General Practitioner’s Education and Communications Lead for the Leicestershire and Rutland region, where he arranges the educational schedule for GP’s and trainees.

Treatment with Dr Kam aims to correct the signs of ageing to restore lift and rejuvenate the face. You no longer have to go under the knife to lift sagging skin and smooth wrinkles. As well as Botox injections to relax the muscles that lead to frown lines and crows feet, A ‘Liquid Facelift’ or ‘Non-Surgical Facelift’ using injectable gel fillers, like Juvederm, can gently lift facial features, reduce facial folds, and replace lost volume for a healthier look. This face sculpting procedure can last for up to 18 months.

It’s not just lines and wrinkles that Dr Kam can help with, Dermal Filler injections can also be used to enhance and correct facial features and with no downtime, natural results and a lower price tag, making treatment more accessible for many people.

Areas that can be treated include;

  • Chin augmentation
  • Jawline definition
  • Nose reshaping,
  • Cheek enhancement,
  • Tear-trough (under-eye bags) treatment,
  • Lip enhancement – for volume or balance / symmetry, temple hollows and more.

Traditional surgical procedures such as rhinoplasty are painful, invasive and require a lot of recovery time. A non-surgical ‘nose job’ , for example, can be performed using injectable fillers. Results are not permanent, but this popular nose job treatment is perfect for those who wish to smooth out bridge bumps or create nostril symmetry.

Treatment at Flint + Flint with Dr Kam also includes advice on how to help maintain and enhance results between sessions to restore the skin’s natural defence functions. Depending on the severity of the skin concern Dr Kam may recommend lifestyle changes and other complementary skin or laser treatments.

Having opened in November 2017 following the success of their Manchester clinic in Harvey Nichols, Flint + Flint Birmingham is proving a success with The Mailbox’s skin health conscious shoppers.

The ‘anti-spa’, as Adam refers to it, boasts a very cool and modern environment, not like the traditional bright white spa clinic. It was designed using opulent, dark and moody colour ways with luxurious textured walls, distinctive neon lighting, super cool graphics and graffiti.
